weather
dwgo
Don’t want to go outside – multi station temperature dockapp.
Temperature.app
Temperature.app is a Window Maker applet which fetches local temperature information every 15 minutes from http://weather.noaa.gov and displays it (in Celsius or Fahrenheit).
TkWeather
TkWeather displays a nice square iconic button showing the current weather condition on either your Windows or Linux/Unix desktop. TkWeather plays nice as an Afterstep/Window Maker dockapp. Clicking the button shows the current basic weather condition values, such as temperature, humidity, and wind. Clicking again shows additional information, namely the barometric pressure, UV, visibility, and “heat index”. It is written entirely in Perl/Tk and requires Perl and Tk to be installed if running Linux/Unix. No other software is required for using the Windows self-installing binary.
wmforecast
A weather dockapp for Window Maker using the Yahoo Weather API.
wmfrog
This is a weather application, it shows the weather in a graphical way. The artwork might not be the best, but not being a designer i’m actually pretty happy about the results.
wmspaceweather
Shows weather at geosynchronous orbit. (Data from the GOES satellites)
wmweather+
wmweather+ will download the National Weather Serivce METAR bulletins, ANV and MRF forecasts, and any weather map for display in a WindowMaker dockapp. Think wmweather with a smaller font, forecasts, a weather map, and a sky condition display.
wmweather
wmweather provides a monitor on a 64x64 mini window that displays the current weather. The weather reports are received from NOAA’s National Weather Service, that is the same source that pilots use.
